Randye Kaye Book Launch

On September 20, 2011, author Randye Kaye and Laurel House held a cocktail reception and reading of Kaye's new book at Stepping Stones Museum in Norwalk.

Ben Behind His Voices is the story of one family’s experience when its firstborn, a brilliant young man named Ben, is gradually struck down by schizophrenia – and the lessons that help the family participate lovingly in Ben’s eventual steps to recovery. This book is designed to increase understanding, foster respect, and reduce stigma for those diagnosed with mental illness, and for their families. By sharing this story, Randye hopes to encourage others to feel less isolated, and have the courage to speak up as well.
