Laurel House to Recognize O’Dea

Laurel House Inc., a nonprofit organization in Stamford, will host its annual Champions for Recovery Dinner Dance on Saturday, April 29, at The Delamar, Greenwich Harbor.

Laurel House’s 2017 Champion for Recovery is Randi Silverman, co-founder and CEO of The Youth Mental Health Project and award-winning screenwriter and producer of the feature film, No Letting Go.

State Rep. Tom O’Dea (R-125), who represents New Canaan and Wilton has been chosen as Town Champion for those towns in recognition of his work in the General Assembly, as a litigator and as a community volunteer. O’Dea is a ranking member on the legislature’s Transportation Committee. He was also a member of the New Canaan’s Town Council from 2005 to 2013 and in his free time coaches New Canaan youth football, baseball and basketball.

The other 2017 Town Champions are: Kate Larson, Darien; Nancy von Euler, Norwalk/Southport; Jack and Sharon Feighery, Stamford; and Dan Woog, Westport.
