STAMFORD, CT – Laurel House, Inc. was recently awarded a $2,000 grant from St. Francis Episcopal Church of Stamford, CT. St. Francis Episcopal Church’s outreach committee distributes more than $25,000 per year to organizations that help the most vulnerable members of society.
The grant will be used to help fund client financial assistance for the specific needs of program participants in Laurel House’s Supported Employment and Supported Education programs.
St. Francis is an Episcopal Church with a rich history of serving Greater Stamford dating back to 1834. St. Francis is an open, progressive, inclusive congregation with men and women serving as clergy and members from Episcopal, Lutheran, other Protestant, Roman Catholic, and non-Christian traditions.
