Laurel House, Inc. was awarded a grant of $5,000 by Near & Far Aid, an all-volunteer fund-raising and fund granting organization, on Monday, June 19.
The grant will be used to help fund Laurel House’s Supported Employment program, which provides vocational and clinical supports that enable people with serious mental illness in finding and retaining competitive jobs of their choosing.
Laurel House has consistently achieved high rankings in quarterly measurements of percentage of jobs achieved, retention on the job and competitive pay.
